Delivery Area
AvanFoods currently offers local delivery only.
We deliver only to addresses located within 5 km of our local delivery address.
Orders placed outside our delivery area may be declined or cancelled.
Delivery Charges
A local delivery charge of £3.00 applies to orders within our delivery area, unless otherwise stated on the website or at checkout.
Any applicable delivery charge will be clearly shown before you complete your order.
Order Processing
Orders are processed after payment has been successfully received.
We aim to prepare orders as quickly as possible, subject to product availability and delivery capacity.
Fresh and Pre-Order Items
Some fresh items are available on a pre-order basis only.
For eligible fresh and pre-order items:
- orders placed before 12:00 noon are eligible for next-day local delivery
- orders placed after 12:00 noon will usually be delivered on the next available delivery day
Fresh and pre-order items are subject to availability.
If an item becomes unavailable, we may contact you to offer a substitute, delay the order, or cancel and refund the affected item where appropriate.
Delivery Times
We aim to deliver local orders within our available delivery schedule.
For eligible fresh and pre-order items, next-day delivery applies only to orders received before 12:00 noon.
All delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control, including traffic, weather, high order volumes, or product availability.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, phone number, and any relevant delivery instructions when placing an order.
We are not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
Missed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed because the customer is unavailable or the delivery details provided are incorrect, re-delivery may not be possible on the same day.
Additional delivery charges may apply for a further delivery attempt.
Perishable Items
We take reasonable care to pack fresh and perishable items appropriately for local delivery.
Customers are responsible for receiving and storing perishable items correctly as soon as they are delivered.
We are not responsible for spoilage or damage caused by delays in accepting delivery or by improper storage after delivery.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, incorrect, or missing, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Where possible, please provide clear photographs of the item and packaging so that we can review the issue promptly.
Approved refunds or replacements will be handled in accordance with our Returns and Refund Policy.
Delivery Restrictions
We do not currently offer nationwide delivery.
Delivery is available only within our local delivery area of up to 5 km from our local address.
